Tuberculosis (TB) Screening Information

Why is 鶹ý Concerned about TB?

requires that all institutions of higher education in Missouri implement a targeted tuberculosis (TB) testing program for all students.

To remain in compliance and because we feel a responsibility to the health and well-being of our students and community, 鶹ý adopted the Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and Testing policy for students.

If you answered “yes” to any TB screening question on your 鶹ý Application for Admission, additional information will be required. You may register for classes at 鶹ý for one semester. However, a health assessment MUST be completed and submitted PRIOR to registration in your second semester of classes at 鶹ý.

What Are My Next Steps?

For those who answered “yes” to any TB screening question on your 鶹ý Application for Admissions, here are your next steps:

  1. Print the TB Clinical Assessment form
  2. Have your healthcare provider or county Health Department complete the form. Since only some health departments provide screenings, you should contact your local health department for information. or St. Louis County Health Department.
  3. Return the completed form and any additional documentation requested to the Office of Enrollment Services.
  4. If you tested for TB within the past 12 months, 鶹ý may be able to accept documentation from your healthcare provider. The document must have been completed by a healthcare provider within the past 12 months and must clearly indicate positive or negative results.

*Note: the College may require additional documentation depending upon the information provided on your TB Clinical Assessment or the results of your TB test.
